Elizabeth graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Accountancy in 2004. She is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
After completing two years of Articles of Clerkship under Tony Black in 2005 and 2006, Elizabeth was admitted as a solicitor in 2007. She has been employed with Anthony Black Family Law since its inception in October 2006 and is a Senior Associate with the firm and is experienced in all aspects of family law including mediation and Court litigation.
Elizabeth has practised exclusively in family law and wills and estates since her admission. She adopts a pragmatic approach to all matters, with a focus on attempting to resolve issues for her clients without the need for costly and time consuming litigation.
Elizabeth has a particular interest in high conflict parenting matters which she approaches with sensitivity and objectivity. She is experienced in resolving property disputes and enjoys the intricacies and challenges negotiating and preparing Binding Child Support Agreements.
Elizabeth also prepares wills, enduring powers of attorney and the administration of deceased estates.
Elizabeth is well regarded by her clients and regularly receives accolades for her high level of empathy and responsiveness.
